DJ Hero Renegade Edition – A Whopping $199

Don’t have enough plastic peripherals laying around? Are your pockets dripping of green paper with the faces of old dead white men on them? Fear not my friends because Activision is here to save the day by with their Renegade Edition DJ Hero Bundle. When the official Pre-E3 announcement of DJ Hero was made, I took one look at the turntable and thought to myself “Ok, not bad, probably like 90 bucks with the game, pretty reasonable.” Then they would later announce that the turntable would be price at $119 and I was immediately floored. And now we have this insane collectors edition at $199. Some one should tell these people about the recession we’re in. Well at least the trim is different than the cheapo original and it says “Renegade” so people know exactly how much you just spent on a plastic turntable.
Here’s what $199 Buys you:
- DJ Hero Game
- Renegade Turntable Controller featuring premium metal controls and finish
- Hardshell Turntable Carrying Case that converts to performance-ready DJ stand
- Exclusive JAY-Z and EMINEM 2-CD pack featuring unreleased tracks and collectible case designed by artist Shepard Fairey
Enjoy the “Renegade Edition” Gallery!

This is when you tell all your rich non gaming friends, you hype it up, then you chill @ their house and play for free. Forget about the price, who has the space!

Good Point. Who does have the space? I think when I buy this, I will have to sell my bed and sleep on the carrying case.

[...] is only compatible with DJ Hero… Wait you aren’t surprised? Good because neither was I. The DJ Hero peripheral is pretty unique to say the least and does not even have a traditional set of buttons on it. Well, I had a chance [...]
