iPhone Puzzle Game from Prague

Gelex, a puzzle game by Handjoy (so lame… might as well have named the company Gamefun or Happyplay), will be available for the iPhone and iPod Touch through the Apple App Store by the beginning of December. The game promises to be an innovative and highly addictive arcade game (I haven’t heard that one before). It combines physics elements with traditional match 3 concept. It also promises to be intuitive with its touch controls. Here is how the press release describes Gelex:

“Main goal of the game is to help crazy physicist Alex destroy his newly invented matter called Gelex. Gelex takes form of small, quite annoying, jelly bricks and the only way to destroy them is to match them by color in special vaporizing machine. The more matches you make, the higher your score.”

“I’m so excited about Gelex development process and I’m even more excited about the game itself. It’s so funny and entertaining and I hope people will feel the same way” says independent developer Marie Bila aka “Granny Coder,” author of Gelex and possibly the oldest developer for the iPhone. And as always, enjoy the screenshots!
