Rumor: Insomniac Games Now a Multiplatform Developer?
François Chang | Mar 13, 2010 | Comments 0
IGN is reporting that they overheard some interesting news about Insomniac Games at GDC. According to an alleged “trusted source,” a game for both 360 and PS3 is already in the works. The company best known for PS3 exclusives such as Ratchet & Clank and Resistance may now be a multiplatform developer. Now does this mean that we can expect to be seeing these franchises heading on over to the 360? Probably not. But if the rumors are true, expect the company to create something brand new. The rumor may very possibly be true, as Insomniac Games is not bound to Sony alone. They are an independent company.
IGN states when they tried contacting both Sony and Insomniac Games on this matter. Sony never responded, and Insomniac Games states that they do not comment on rumors. Interesting…
