New Release Rundown Week of 3/14
Hello readers, I am back this week to do the new release rundown. This week you can take it out on the gods with the epic finale to the God of War trilogy in God of War III. Check out the DualShockers review here. This week also continues the onslaught of RPG releases with Resonance of Fate and the expansion to my favorite RPG of 2009, Dragon Age: Origins. If you want to shoot something this week, then I would recommend Metro 2033.
This weeks WTF title has to go to the Build-A-Bear games, titled: Friendship Valley and Welcome to Hugsville. I’m sure I would never want to go to either of those places. I do wonder if Hugsville is located in the Friendship Valley. They probably are located in the county of Surprise Sex. Another solid week of relelases. Full release list after the break.
Nintendo Asks Gamers to Get Tough
Nintendo wants to know just how tough you really are. And this weeks WiiWare downloads give you just that chance. Whether your face to face with fearsome foes, standing toe to toe with Vampires, Nintendo has you covered. Check out the latest downloads available for your Wii:

The titles are Build-A-Bear Workshop: Friendship Valley for Wii, and Build-A-Bear Workshop: Welcome to Hugsville for DS. We don’t know what game of the year 2010 is just yet, but cutest titles of the year will definitely be going to these two.

New Release Rundown – Week of 3/7
Hello folks! I get to take over Evan’s job for a week since he’s attending all sorts of game-related events out on the West coast. He even got to go to the Final Fantasy XIII launch party in San Fransisco last night. Aren’t you all jealous? Speaking of Final Fantasy XIII, it most definitely heads up our list of new releases this week, making its way to the PS3 and, for the first time in franchise history, Microsoft’s Xbox 360, as well. In fact, I’m taking a break from delving into the worlds of Cocoon and Pulse to write this up for you all.
Other notable releases are Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition for both major consoles, Yakuza 3 and Mega Man 10 for the PS3, as well as Assassin’s Creed II for the PC (if Ubisoft can manage to keep the abomination is calls its DRM servers online for more than a few hours at a time). Some nice DLC for Bioshock 2 also makes its way to all three versions of the game this week for those of you who can’t pull yourself away from Rapture. Check out the full after the break. What are you looking to pick up this week?
Nintendo Downloads Bring Fantasy Games Back
Last week we told the readers Nintendo’s digital distribution system is getting heavy attention in the month of March. This week’s theme is clearly Fantasy with the upcoming release of Final Fantasy IV, renamed Final Fantasy II back in the Super Nintendo days, to the Wii’s virtual console is a great way to kick off another week for Wii download gamers. Scribblenauts 2 Confirmed

Familiar Voices In Iron Man 2: The Video Game
When you sit down to play Iron Man 2, take a listen and enjoy the famous voices that have signed on for the game. Samuel L. Jackson and Don Cheadle will be joining the voice cast for this second installment of the series. Widening their horizons, Don Cheadle will voice the role of his own character in the second movie, to hit theaters this summer, that of James “Rhodey” Rhodes a.k.a War Machine. Samuel L. Jackson will do the same with his own role, S.H.I.E.L.D director Nick Fury.
GameFly Trade-ins This Month
In an attempt to reward gamers this month for choosing GameFly the rent-from-home delivery service is offering up to 50% more value for your games when you trade them in. If some of your games are having a low trade-in value at GameStop still, even with their bonus event, then this might be your best bet. Read more for some detail as to which games will get you the most bucks back.
How to Train Your Dragon Teaser
Activision has released a teaser trailer for How to Train Your Dragon The Game, based on the DreamWorks film of the same name.
Surely Impressed By This New Strange Journey Trailer
If I have any time at the end of March or beyond, perhaps I’ll have to dust off my DS and check the latest Shin Megami Tensei title out, because Atlus is sure making it look good. They released this new trailer recently which focuses on some of the battle game play and will likely whet your appetitle for some dungeon-crawling JRPG goodness.
