Death Stranding is shaping up to be a very weird game. Probably one of the weirdest games I have ever seen. Hell, Kojima layed out the gameplay details just the other day and I still don’t really have a clue what the hell I will be doing in his next title. So, these weird animations and customization options that were shown off at TGS really don’t surprise me to much.

Per IGN, Hideo Kojima showed off about 30 minutes worth of footage of what players will be doing with Sam Bridges during the downtime of Death Stranding. Players will be able to customize Sam’s Bedroom as well as his wardrobe.

The demo begins with Kojima walking the audience through some mechanics. Players will take control of the camera while Sam is hanging out in his bedroom. In a very Kojima style way, if the players zoom in on Sam’s crotch, he will get upset and cover himself then punch the camera.

To top that off, the camera is apparently the jarred up baby that Sam caries around so I guess he just punches a baby in the face.

There are plenty of other tasks that players can do inside the bedroom. Players can guide Sam to wash his face, check out his hair, use the bathroom, and much more. It wouldn’t be a Kojima game without all of these options.

If you would like to watch the demo in its entirety, you can check it out for yourself in the video below. (Thanks GameSpot)

Death Stranding is set to release in just a couple of months on November 8 on PS4. The lead up to this game has been like nothing I have ever seen before. It has been so interesting that the game has already won over our very own reviews editor. For more coverage, make sure to check out some additional gameplay footage.
