After 11 long years in the dark, Remedy Entertainment's survival horror classic, Alan Wake has finally been remastered.

After releasing on the Xbox 360 all the way back in 2010, fans have been clamouring for the return of the famous author. Thankfully, now, their wishes have been answered.

While many players are likely to have played the game when it was on the 360, there is likely to be a huge percentage who will be playing for the first time and therefore, are likely to encounter a few difficulties.

To help you out, here's how you can beat the tornado boss right at the end of Alan Wake Remastered.

How to Beat The Tornado in Alan Wake Remastered

Considering it's the final boss in the whole game, the tornado shouldn't give you too much difficulty.

The first thing you'll need to do is destroy the poltergeist items that are floating around the outside of the tornado - this can be done with your torch, or more effectively with the Flare Gun.

Following this, you need to make your way closer to the centre of the storm, jumping over the gaps in the floor as you go. There will also be more floating poltergeist items you're going to want to destroy here.

As you get closer to the centre, be sure to stock up on ammo for the Flare Gun with the box on the floor.

Once on the final piece of land, you're going to want to pound the tornado with flares from the Flare Gun, aiming for the dead centre. After doing this a few times, the tornado will be defeated and you are free to progress!

What About the Gunless Wonder Achievement/Trophy?

Thankfully, if you're aiming for the Gunless Wonder trophy/achievement, which can be achieved by heading from the Dam to Cauldron Lake without firing a weapon, you'll be fine.

The trophy or achievement should pop just before you reach the tornado boss, freeing you up to fire at will against it.
