Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, Not Very Golden
Shipping today is Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition. We know it may be buried under all the other games of interest this week, but if you haven’t tried Resident Evil 5, now is a good time you do. It’s just too bad Capcom couldn’t cut you all a better deal.
PlayStation Store Update 3/4
Hello everyone, this weeks update is up and it is time for more of my rambling about the releases. The Capcom sale continues this week, with Super Puzzle Fighter getting a price drop. Also, there is a bundle for the first two Penny Arcade games, right in time for PAX East, which is in a few weeks. We have 3 demos and no new releases this week. A few DLC packs for MLB 10 The Show for any lazy players out there. As well as the second installment of Resident Evil 5 DLC. Video fans, enjoy a new episode of Pulse and the Tester, oddly enough no new Qore this week, but it should most likely be here next week. Nothing too special on the PS3 end.
On the PSP front, we have 4 new releases this week, including both of the 2010 baseball games. 5 new minis also dropped, which all have acceptable pricing. A good update for Go owners. Interesting to see a shift like this, hopefully next week brings even more good stuff. Full release list available after the break. See you all next week.

When it Comes to Lost Planet 2, Capcom Listens to the Fans
What was originally supposed to be a GameStop exclusive is now being given to all fans who pre-order Lost Plant 2. Fans who pre-order Lost Planet 2 at GameStop locations in North America will be able to download two new maps where they can engage in battle during the 16-player multi-player versus modes of Lost Planet 2. So as a sort of customer appreciation, Capcom has decided that the playable skin of Resident Evil 5’s Albert Wesker and the powerful Magnum Revolver weapon, after receiving such massive demand, will be given to everyone who purchased the game.
A Face Full of Monster Hunter Tri
When Nintendo announces info on upcoming titles, they do it big, with a whole lot of information in such a short period of time. The latest and greatest details on the Monster Hunter Tri release is no exception. At their event in San Francisco today, Nintendo revealed that Monster Hunter Tri will be hitting store shelves here on April 20, 2010. Also on that day they will launch their new Classic Controller Pro. As if we didn’t already have enough ways to control our Wii games, Nintendo wants to make sure that we’re not lacking for anything. Oh, but there’s more!
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth Review
The latest entry of Capcom’s Ace Attorney series has arrived on Nintendo DS. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth released on February 16, 2010, and looked to steer the series in a new direction.
If you aren’t familiar with the previous Ace Attorney titles, they are heavily text-based games that take place in various areas, but usually in the courtroom. You interrogate, press for clues, and present evidence to shut people (usually liars) up. Every so often you go out to the scene and gather information through some point and click mechanics. They are all pretty great games that have already brought the series this far. So, how does Miles Edgeworth stack up?
