New, Free Mass Effect 2 DLC Coming Up
Bioware announced today that they’ll be pushing some exciting new DLC to those who own Mass Effect 2 with the Cerberus Network (which is free with a new copy of the game). At the end of March the “Firewalker” DLC will arrive, packed with five new missions that make use of a new vehicle called the Hammerhead. It’s an assault vehicle that flies above the ground and shoots huge rockets, what’s not to like? This is part of the ongoing slew of both free and paid additional content they promised for Mass Effect 2 and I definitely look forward to getting behind the controls of this new vehicle. Check after the jump for some screens that were released along with the other details.
Army of Two: The 40th Day Campaign DLC Coming In April
It’s been quite some time since I’ve actually written anything. With Joel and myself doing constant work behind the scenes to get the new site running, sleep and writing haven”t been my two favorite companions. But, now that everything is fine and dandy and things are up and running, we can definitely get back to the task at hand: writing and gaming. [claps]
As we start pouring into our gaming habits again, I’m sure that none other than Joel will be ecstatic to know that Electronic Arts has just announced that some new Army of Two: The 40th Day DLC is creeping up. The downloadable content, titled “Chapters of Deceit,” comes packed with two campaign maps in the city where all the fun started – Shanghai – where “players stumble upon information that could lead to ending the invasion by Jonah and his 40th Day Initiative army.” Set to release on April 1st (and we’re hoping this isn’t some sick April fool’s joke), the DLC will be available for download on both the Xbox 360 for 800 Microsoft points, and the PlayStation 3 for $9.99.
Breach & Clear with these new Medal of Honor Screens
Ripping a page out of Modern Warfare’s playbook, Medal of Honor is hitting the modern battlefields of the Middle East. Is this a bad thing? Heh, we’ll see. As of right now, I cannot wait to get back into the mountainous regions and hunt down some insurgents. However, one screen did make me ponder if players will be able to do some extreme off-road 4-wheeling. Maybe EA dipped into their bag of tricks even further and decided they like Pure a lot as well?
