Buy a PSP GO And Get 10 Free Games (In The UK)

If the PSP Go didn’t look appealing to you before (and why would it) Sony is hoping that their latest promotion may just give you a change of heart. As it stands now, this offer is still “to be announced” and it’s currently only for our friends across the pond, in the UK. Now, if you’re like me, and a total pessimist yourself, then like me you probably assumed that the 10 games included in this bundle would be PSP Minis and shovel-ware. And just like me, you would be absolutely WRONG. Check out some of the titles included below to see what’s included.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Review (PSP)

During the past couple of years Rockstar Games, have seen their fair share of successes on the Sony’s little portable that could. With Vice City Stories, and Liberty City Stories before it, the development team at Rockstar North we’re able to really gain serious experience while working with the handheld. Fast forward to 2009 and it’s another team’s turn in continuing what Rockstar North started as Rockstar Leeds, leads (pun intended) the way in the next title in the franchise – Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

GTA: CW, although it’s the most cartoony looking title in the serious is by far the most mature, and quite possibly the most engaging as it has just as much to offer as the GTA titles found on non-portable machines. The drug trafficking element in the game is a welcome return to some good old-fashioned Rockstar Games controversy. Dealing isn’t really part of the main missions, but it’s a big part of the in-game economy as you can make additional income while learning the ins–and outs of drug dealing in Liberty City. Supply and demand is what it’s all about.

GTA: Chinatown Wars Headed to the iPhone/iPod Touch

I thought the app store was missing some crime related apps, and thanks to Rockstar Games not only will that gap be filled. With not just any crime game but probably one of the best handheld games of the year – Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. This just might make me hold off on purchasing the PSP version especially considering how capable the iPhone/iPod touches are as far as graphics are concerned. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if the two SKU’s look identical. I can guarantee one thing that wont look the same…the price! GTA: CW on the PSP I can’t imagine selling for less than $30, meanwhile in the app store I have yet to find a game more than $10. Can’t wait to see screens from this one as my commuting this fall just got a whole lot better. Check out the full press release below!
