Lost In Shadows Release Date + Screens
The upcoming stylish platformer Lost in Shadows for the Nintendo Wii has been anticipated for some time now. The publishing is being left in HudsonSoft’s capable hands. The game touts a unique, heavily detailed visual style that makes it a very welcome addition to the Wii’s software lineup.
In Lost In Shadow, players are confronted with a mysterious tower in an alternative world. The tower is filled with moving shadows yet at the same time, casts a large shadow on everything beneath it. With the help of a winged sylph known as “Spangle,” players can move lights in the foreground to create new shadowy walkways to previously inaccessible areas. Unaffected by gravity while traveling through this medieval landscape, the shadow boy solves mysteries and fights off enemies who stand in his way. The game’s combination of light, shadow, background and foreground creates a unique blend of novel gameplay features, morphing landscapes and artistic visuals.
Announced today, the game will launch January 11th, 2011. Unfortunately, excited fans have several more months to wait for this ambitious new title. Until that time however, feast your eyes on these lovely new screenshots.

DualShockers Weekend Wrap Up January 23rd Edition
Whew! Another busy week here at DualShockers. We had a ton of big news hit this week and a couple of videos. The hardest part of doing this job is deeming what is “important” and what is not. It usually consists of me flipping a coin multiple times while staring at news articles to help me decide. Also, due to circumstances beyond our control we had to delay the ShockCast until next week. I know, it’s quite sad but drown your sadness in malt liquor and football games today! Oh, if you’re not a fan of football substitute video games instead of football games. Have a great week!

Hotel Giant 2 in January 2010
Southpeak Games, along with Nobilis Games announced that Hotel Giant 2 will be hitting PCs in January of 2010. Eager hotel owner wannabes will be thrown into strange and unusual situations with 1 thing on their mind, guests’ happiness. However, owners will not just have to worry about guests, but employee payroll, hotel budget, and hostage negotiation as well. Well, not the hostage negotiation part but that could be an interesting add-on. To make sure hotel budget and guest satisfaction are met, players will have access to many options, from in-room amenities to what kind of tile goes in the bathroom. So make sure to put on your commerce caps!
