Yakuza 3: Memories Trailer
With the release of Yakuza 3 right around the corner, March 12th to be precise, Sega has released this trailer as a teaser for the upcoming game, but also to highlight the past of the main character, Kazuma. With only brief images from the first and second games, you don’t get a lot of history behind Kazuma, but it’s enough to tickle that itch and might have you running out on the 12th to pick yourself up a copy.
Familiar Voices In Iron Man 2: The Video Game
When you sit down to play Iron Man 2, take a listen and enjoy the famous voices that have signed on for the game. Samuel L. Jackson and Don Cheadle will be joining the voice cast for this second installment of the series. Widening their horizons, Don Cheadle will voice the role of his own character in the second movie, to hit theaters this summer, that of James “Rhodey” Rhodes a.k.a War Machine. Samuel L. Download Some Resonance of Fate Music!
Yes, you know you want to. The official North American Resonance of Fate site recently went online. As is typical for a game’s web site, you can watch trailers, learn about the characters and various game mechanics. This site has all that, but what’s more is you can download whole songs from the game’s soundtrack for free! We like free, especially since this is going to be a tight month for JRPG fans. To pick up the tracks, hit up the official site, click on “Multimedia” at the top, then look for the “Download the Music Free” link in the lower right. Do you think you can finish FFXIII up in a week, in time for this great-looking RPG from tri-Ace? If not, don’t worry, it’ll still be around when you do.
Alpha Protocol Release Date

Sega unveiled a new release date, and this time, they mean it. The Espionage RPG Alpha Protocol is scheduled to hit North America June 1st. With a plot that is ripped from today’s headlines, and more twists than a season of “24″, Alpha Protocol is bringing modern day realism to RPGs.
Rumor: New Star Ocean Title In Development
Scrawl is reporting that within the French gaming magazine AMUSEMENT one of the tri-Ace directors is interviewed and spills a bit of info that Star Ocean fans have been hoping for. The question was about tri-Ace’s relationship with Square-Enix, which has published many of their previous titles, such as the Star Ocean series. You may recall that tri-Ace’s latest game, Resonance of Fate, departed from that formula when they teamed up with Sega as the game’s publisher.
New Valkyria Chronicles DLC Tests Your Versatility
While a strategic RPG like Valkyria Chronicles definitely forces you to use certain classes for certain reasons throughout the course of the game, much of it is based on the play-style of the gamer, as well. I know I tended to lean more toward using certain classes in excess and some other classes possibly not enough. In the spirit of giving those of us who are like that a lesson in versatility, some new DLC for Valkyria Chronicles was announced (yes, it is nearly a year and a half after the game came out, why do you ask?). This DLC has been out in Japan since June, but we’ll finally be able to get our hands on it next week.

Sega has announced that the Yakuza 3 demo is up and ready to download on the Playstation Network. And for those of you waiting for the download to finish, read what you can expect from the demo. Sega states:

Resonance of Fate Release Date Confirmed
As little as a couple weeks back we thought Resonance of Fate – tri-Ace and Sega’s upcoming steam-punk, gun-slinging RPG – was going to be released on March 9, the very same day as that other game. I’m not entirely sure why we thought that was the day, but it might possibly be related to the fact that the Wikipedia page for the game had March 9 listed. Now, while Wikipedia may not be the place you want to go for factual, unbiased information all the time, I have never known it to have incorrect information as far as game release dates go, because you know there is someone out there just waiting for an “official” announcement so they can update the page two seconds after the press release goes out.
