New Quantum Theory Screens Are All Sorts of Hot

Tecmo Koei’s upcoming third-person shooter is looking pretty hot, wouldn’t you agree? Check out the screens after the break for a glimpse of the visuals. This has so many things in common with Final Fantasy XIII. I mean, both games are more action-oriented, both games have a sleek, Japanese visual style that I love and both games have a world named “Cocoon”. Now, if only Square-Enix was publishing, right? Okay, back to Quantum Theory. Yeah, it is looking great. Will the story stand up? Only time will tell.

Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days Goes Gold, Ships… Early!?

There’s something that frequently happens in the game industry more so than any other form of entertainment and that is delays. On occasion you see it happen in the music business when an artist isn’t too happy with the way a record omes out and wants to take a second go at it. But let’s imagine if when you went to go see Toy Story 3 in the theatre ane when you arrived the person at the booth told you the movie has been delayed, what would you say? Well that’s something that occurs in gaming pretty much all the time so when you see the complete opposite occur it leaves you with an almost stupid look on your face followed by a very distinct noise coming out of your mouth; that noise is usually something along the lines of: Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?

BlackLight: Tango Down Takes Customization to a Whole New Level

In the newest developer diary for Zombie Studio’s Blacklight: Tango Down, the focus is on the game’s incredibly in-depth weapon customization system. These customization options provide the gamer with many ways to humiliate their opponents.

The guns themselves are like a players personal signature, with so many options the goal is that no two guns are the same. To start off there are six core weapons including an SMG, shotgun, sniper rifle and assault rifle. Each gun will have around “25 different weapon attributes” that players will be able to customize based on personal tastes.

Who Wants a $70 Piece of Plastic? Nintendo Wii Owners Surely

Well I hate to break it to you but the headline was pretty much exactly what this article is about. There is huge anticipation for a remake of one of the most popular games to ever hit a Nintendo platform incoming. If you haven’t heard I’ll just tell you one word, GoldenEye. The name alone brings chills to gamers worldwide who haven’t had a proper fix of the addictive title in years.

Taking a page from Capcom’s recently revealed strategy book, so to speak, Activision is said to be putting forth a “controller” for the Nintendo Wii which will be launched with the 007: GoldenEye remake. This peripheral is already listed by the quick-trigger bandits at GameStop for a whopping $69.99 before tax.

There’s a chance it could be something super special, it could also be a bundle of the game and a controller, it could even end up being worth loads of antique collectible money some day. There is also the chance it is simply a piece of plastic you plug your Wii controller in to like we’ve seen time and time again. For now this is slated as rumor until more details emerge, whether or not this will be worth the cheddar is up to you though.
