Touhou Danmaku Kagura, the mobile rhythm game with tons of Touhou music, was launched on August 5 JST on iOS and Android. However, there's been a massive issue for iOS players.

Touhou Danmaku Kagura - Download, why iOS players are unhappy?

The Touhou rhythm game by Aquastyle and DeNA is available to download on iOS and Android. While there's seemingly nothing wrong with the game's download and APK, many iOS players are actually unable to play the game for some reason.

After Danmaku Kagura has been downloaded and installed, most iOS players are unable to pass the title screen. Nothing happens no matter how much they tap.

As pointed out by multiple Twitter users, there are several, if not all versions of iOS that cannot run the game. This makes it a very weird situation.

Though it's very important to note it's pretty much the norm for mobile games nowadays. Nearly every mobile game launches with massive bugs or issues nowadays. The only one who was spared recently I can think of is Uma Musume. Then again, it was delayed for years by Cygames, so it obviously didn't have many bugs at release.

For now, the official Twitter hasn't talked about the issue but hopefully, it will be fixed soon. It's sad but actually common for gacha games and mobile games to launch unfinished and riddled with bugs.

Back on July 17, danmaku specialized Japanese studio Cave also announced it's working on a main Touhou Project game. Under the official Touhou Project IP. As in it'll have the same official status as a game made by ZUN / Team Shangai Alice. This is completely different from the officially approved games made by other companies. Which aren't official Touhou games but were simply approved by ZUN.

No platforms were announced, and we only know the game will launch in 2022. Right now, Cave is currently publishing the mobile gacha game Gothic wa Mahou Shoujo.
