Today Takara Tomy finally revealed the first screenshot of the new Zoids Wild Nintendo Switch game.

The console game spawned by the wildly popular (at least in Japan) toys franchise will be released on the Japanese shelves in the winter of 2018, even if there is still no word on whether it'll ever see the light in the west.

Information on the game itself is still very scarce, as we don't know details on gameplay or even the final title.

The screenshot showcases the Wild Liger mecha, and it looks as awesome as the toy does.

Zoid Wild is an anime series (the fifth dedicated to the franchise) that has recently started airing in Japan, while the manga is serialized on CoroCoro Comic by Shogakukan.

Personally, I've always been a big fan of the toys, so I'm quite eager to see where this game goes. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait. I do expect a reveal at Tokyo Game Show next week since Zoids normally has a big dedicated booth there.
